Does Dasani Have Salt In It?
And the answer to that question is - yes, it does. And it has way more salts than what it says on the back of the bottle.
But what exactly is inside of Dasani water?
As you can see, one of the main ingredients is magnesium sulfate. And if you don’t know what magnesium sulfate is, it goes by the commercial name - Epsom salt.
And although this type of salt has certain health benefits, it is not intended for consumption.
The second salt is potassium chloride, which has the task of fertilizing the soil for plant growth. And I’m pretty sure you don’t want a fertilizer inside your water.
The third salt is regular salt or sodium chloride. And it is very well known what effect table salt has on our body.
What does this mean? What does all this salt do to our bodies?
Well, it makes you more thirsty and doesn’t really hydrate you at all.
Conclusion
So, does Dasani have salt in it?
Yes.
Should you be drinking it?
No.
