In todays' review, we're going to find out is Fiji Water good!
We'll test a couple of different things to determine if Fiji Water is good, or you should avoid it.
So, let's begin!
1. Antioxidants
The first thing we're testing is for antioxidants.
We are surrounded by the things that want to harm us. And the worst is that we don’t even see them.
Those things are called free radicals.
They are everywhere, in the air we breathe, in the food we eat, even in the electronics we use.
But what do they do to us?
Well, they are taking the electrons from our healthy cells, and by that make them imbalanced. This makes once healthy cells oxidized and inflamed.
So, we need antioxidants to stop that process and stabilize our struggling cells.
Antioxidants can lower oxidation and reduce oxidation, that’s why many refer to them as a “fountain of youth”.
But how can we find out if Fiji is creating oxidation and inflammation?
By using a device called ORP meter.
What this device does is that it is showing a numeral value. The lower the number is, or better say the more negative the number is, the better the water is for our health. However, a high positive number is a pretty good indicator of oxidative water.
ORP Test
So, let's see if Fiji water is creating oxidation or inflammation, or it actually fights it!
We are getting a value of positive 250 and rising, which is not a good thing.
Just to show that there is antioxidant water available, we’re going to test the water that I am drinking as well.
Will it do any better?
This water is showing a negative value of -830 and lower, meaning that it has antioxidative properties, and that's exactly what we want to see!
2. Alkalinity
Cancer, sickness, and disease cannot thrive in an alkaline environment. However, they love to be in an acidic environment.
If we consume acidic food and water, they will eat the electrolytes and minerals that our body needs, leading to variety of sicknesses and diseases.
pH Test
To find out if Fiji Water is acidic or alkaline, we're going to use pH Drops.
If the water turns red, orange, or yellow, we know that it is acidic. On the other hand, blue, purple, and dark purple indicates alkaline water.
Fiji water looks pretty good, since it is advertised as a natural spring water. On the other hand, electric water absolutely nailed this test!
But is Fiji water really good?
We breathe out carbon dioxide, which is acidic gas. So, let's blow some air inside it, and see if Fiji water will be able to fight oxidation!
So the color did change a bit, and now it stands more around the neutral level. This happens because of artificial minerals being added to the water, mostly because of taste.
These minerals are not able to fight oxidation, and that's why the water changed its color.
3. Superior Hydration
Is Fiji water good at hydrating us?
The water that we're drinking should hydrate us at a cellular level. It shouldn't just sit in our stomach and make us feel bloated.
And to see if Fiji Water can hydrate us or not, we’re going to do a simple trick using a teabag!
Why teabag?
Teabag represents our cellular membrane. The water should pass the membrane, push out the toxins, and bring in the nutrients. If it can’t pass through the teabag, how should it pass through a much smaller membrane?
So, let's begin!
It’s obvious that Fiji water is having a tough time making tea, meaning it is bad at hydrating us.
And what about the electric water?
Comparing it to electrolyzed-reduced water, it is clear that Fiji water hydrates us 5-10% of what it should.
4. What's Inside?
Apart from the obvious content stated on the label, there is something more that you should know about.
The water stripped of its natural minerals act as a scavenger. It will literally eat anything, including plastic. And that’s exactly what happens!
The scary thing about this process is that water and plastic create a carcinogen called xenoestrogen. 75% of men and women who have breast cancer have a higher level of xenoestrogen in their bodies.
Drinking this water can obviously lead to serious health issues, and that’s something that all of us should keep in mind.
5. Money
Not only that Fiji is acidic, slightly-oxidizing, doesn’t hydrate us, and creates carcinogens, we are still paying for it!
Conclusion
So, would I recommend Fiji Water?
Well, not really since there are much better alternatives out there.
I also made a report about the five properties every healthy water has. I personally use these tools in my life right now!
