Icelandic Water Review

Icelandic Water Review.

Now, let's go ahead and pour and analyze some Icelandic Glacial water. We're going to do to test this brand for three specific properties:

- Antioxidants

- Alkalinity

- Superior Hydration

1. Antioxidants

Antioxidants are a group of various natural compounds that play an important role in the human body to protect against the harmful effects of free radicals.

And free radicals are almost everywhere!

They are in the air that we breathe, they're in electronics, they're in a lot of foods and other things that we consume.

Free radicals are taking the electrons from our healthy cells.

When that happens, cells can not breathe and take in nutrients, they become oxidized, and on top of that they become inflamed.

This is why we need the antioxidants - they take care of those cells by giving them the extra electrons that they need.

How do we test it? How do we see if the water is good at fighting free radicals.

Well, by using an ORP meter.

ORP Test

ORP stands for oxidative reduction potential or the potential to reduce oxidation.

If we see a positive number, that means the water is oxidizing us and creating inflammation.

On the other hand, a negative number means the water works as an antioxidant, and has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.

So let's see where we stand with the Icelandic water.

Unfortunately, the Icelandic Glacial Water is oxidizing us.

But let's go ahead and take a look at the other water that we have! We are going to call it electric water.

This water is showing a negative 748 meaning it is an extremely strong antioxidant.

Ultimately, the Icelandic glacial water is doing us more harm than good.

2. Alkalinity

Scientific discoveries showed that cancer and sickness cannot survive an alkaline environment.

Because of this fact, a lot of water companies started putting alkaline and ph, as a part of their branding.

We all know that things can be alkaline or acidic.

Tobacco, cigarettes, alcohol, and junk food will grab the nutrients, minerals and electrolytes from us, causing numerous health issues.

Some are:

- Skin conditions

- Osteoporosis

- Alzheimer's

This is why we want to consume things that are more alkaline because it makes it easier for us to battle back.

But let's test the pH level of Icelandic Glacial Water.

If we see a red, orange or yellow, that means the water is acidic and is eating the minerals and electrolytes in our body.

However, if we see blue, purple or dark purple, the water is alkaline and it's going to keep our body in balance.

What we got looks blue, which makes sense because the bottle indicates 8.4.

The other water, electric water we mentioned above, did even better!

But is Icelandic Glacial Water really alkaline? Is the 8.4 level its true level? Let's see if it changes color after we blow some air into it.

We discovered that it's not as alkaline as we thought and it's not going to be able to battle back the acidity that's in our body.

Let's go ahead and check out that third and final test on superior hydration.

3. Superior Hydration

Let's say we grab a beach ball full and we throw it at the chain fence.

What's going to happen, it's going to come back to us right now.

However, if we throw a marble, it will go right through!

That's exactly how our water should be.

Our water should be so small that it can pass through us to push out the waste, allowing us to bring in the nutrients, and push out the toxins.

So, let's see if Icelandic Glacial Water can enter the teabag, which represents our dehydrated body, and make tea.

Unfortunately, Icelandic Glacial Water is not able to enter the teabag and make tea, meaning it is having a tough time hydrating us.

Will electric water do any better? Let's see.

As you can see, electric Kangen water instantly made tea, without pre boiling it!

Conclusion

We tested Icelandic Glacial Water for three specific properties.

The first one was on antioxidants and we saw that the Icelandic water is oxidizing.

The second thing was alkalinity, and while it says 8. 4, the true level was around 5.

Last but not least, we tested it for hydration.

We saw that it doesn't hydrate us and in fact, it takes more water to do the same job as a cup of electric water.
