Is Core Hydration Alkaline Water?

Is CORE Hydration alkaline water?

If you ask $18 billion bottled water industry - then yes.  But, in today's test we're going to find out if that's true!

The bottled water industry knows that alkaline water is good for you. So, in the last couple of years, we can see more and more producers putting alkaline on the bottle.

But is it really alkaline or they are just filtering the water through reverse osmosis and adding chemicals and minerals so it appears alkaline?

pH Test

Let’s test it! We’re going to put a couple of pH reagent drops. If our water reacts and changes color to yellow, orange or red, we know it’s acidic and bad for us.

If we see blue, purple, or a dark purple, the water is alkaline.

Well, it looks like it's alkaline water. That's exactly what we want.

But how did it get this way? Is it really alkaline or it is just chemically altered to make it seem like it’s alkaline?

To answer that question, we got to take a step back.

Reverse Osmosis is a process that removes almost everything out of the water. It takes all the bad stuff out, which is fantastic, but it also takes out all the electrolytes and minerals that our body needs.

The end product is dead water. So dead that if you drink it, it's going to take minerals out of your body.

Second of all, this water contains inorganic minerals such as:

  • Calcium Chloride - Used to de-ice roads

  • Magnesium Chloride - Inorganic salt

  • Potassium Bicarbonate - Baking soda

These chemicals do not break down well in our bodies. This can lead to alkalosis and several other issues like:

  • Vomiting

  • Nausea

  • Headaches

  • Confusion and disorientation

So how alkaline it really is?

To prove that this water’s result is chemically altered, I’m going to show you a simple trick that will reveal the real truth.

By blowing some air through the plastic straw, we will alter the artificial chemical balance and find out the real pH of Core Hydration water. The reason why is because most of these waters are chemically altered to present them as alkaline water.

So now, let’s do the real test and see if Core Hydration water has something to hide. Remember, if it’s true alkaline water it will maintain its color, and if not, well the difference will be obvious.

So, Core Hydration Water changed the color. Now we know that this water is chemically altered so that the producer can present it as alkaline water, which obviously is not.

Conclusion

So ultimately, is CORE Hydration alkaline water?

By bottled water industry standards, yes, but in reality - absolutely no.

In this case, alkaline is just a marketing trick to make you buy something that should be good for you.

If the back of your water says that it contains inorganic minerals, salts, and other chemicals, then it can’t be alkaline.
