In today’s review we’re gonna check the pH level of Arrowhead Spring water!
To find out if this water is acidic or alkaline, we’re going to use phenol indicator drops.
If the water turns red, orange, or yellow, we know that it is acidic. On the other hand, blue, purple, and dark purple indicates alkaline water.
So, as you can see, the water is showing a pH level of about an eight.
But is this the true pH level of this water?
By putting some oxidation into the water in a form of my breath, or better say carbon dioxide, we will either kill non-organic minerals this water might have, or it will fight oxidation and the colour of the water will stay the same.
It did change the colour slightly, so it is more on the neutral side of the scale, but this is something that’s expected since the spring water comes this way.
So the final pH level of Arrowhead Spring water is around seven.
