Hey, what's going on? I'm LaPrentiss Demond, we are gonna do Smartwater Antioxidant Review this time. This is the antioxidant version, okay?
Let's go ahead and get this poured up. If you have not seen any of these videos, you wanna smash that subscribe button, so you get more tips tricks and tactics, improve your overall wellness.
And we're gonna be putting this antioxidant water against our electrolyzed-reduced water right here.
1. Antioxidants
And the first thing we're gonna test for is antioxidants. Antioxidants are negatively charged.
They reduce the oxidation and inflammation that our body starts to go through over time because of all the free radicals around us, okay? Oxidation is positively charged.
It leads to rust, okay? So picture a banana. When a banana starts to turn brown, that's oxidation happening in real time.
And then inflammation, which is any type of itis you're experiencing, which is bronchitis, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis.
All that is inflammation happening in different areas of the body. So we wanna consume antioxidants to reduce that inflammation, lower that oxidation and be the fountain of youth.
We're gonna use this ORP meter to see if something is oxidizing us, we'll see a positive number, all right?
We see a negative number, it is an antioxidant. So let's see what shows up for antioxidant Smartwater.
Antioxidant Smartwater showing a 190, okay? So this is oxidizing us.
Despite what it says on the bottle of being an antioxidant, this is oxidizing us, okay? And it just hit 200, okay?
Let's go ahead and take a look at this electrolyzed-reduced water. Maybe it is more of an antioxidant.
Ooh, look at that. 796, 798. So this is full of antioxidants. This is a strong, strong antioxidant-rich beverage, okay?
Oh, it hit -800, look at that. So I don't know what they're saying about antioxidants, but it's oxidizing. All right, let's go ahead and jump onto our second test.
All righty, now that we just saw that Smartwater Antioxidant Review on antioxidants, which is the most important test, by the way, especially if you're claiming to be an antioxidant.
We're gonna jump onto our second test, which is on alkalinity.
2.Alkalinity
All right, we want our water to ensure that we stay slightly alkaline.
Specifically, our blood must maintain a 7.365, and if it strays a little bit too far from that in either direction, it's gonna cause some fatal damage, okay?
And with everything that we're consuming these days with the chips and the cookies and the snacks, all that type of stuff, all that acidity,
we want to neutralize that and buffer out all that stuff with something that's alkaline, okay? So we are gonna add these pH drops to both of these beverages.
If we get a red or orange or yellow, it's acidic, and it's eating in the minerals and electrolytes in our body.
However, if we get a blue or purple or dark purple, we know it's alkaline, and it's neutralizing all that junk food, all that fast food that we be eating, all right?
Let's see what we get in Smartwater Antioxidant Review.
Looks acidic.
Looks acidic, all right. But let's see what's in this, right? 'Cause it's full of antioxidants, right? Let's see. Selenium, purely balanced pH.
So vapor distilled water, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, and potassium bicarbonate, which is an alternative for baking soda and has sodium selenite.
So that's the key difference. Whatever that sodium selenite is, that's where they're claiming is the antioxidant. However, it's negatively charged.
And this, I can't tell if it's, it looks like it's slightly below neutral. You guys let me know in the comments.
Overall though, it's not gonna battle back all that acidity that we take in day in and day out. However, ready for a quick change?
Go ahead and take this water here, and guess what? We're alkaline, we're good again, okay? There you have it. There's our second test. It is on alkalinity.
3. Superior Hydration
All right, onto our last test. This one is on superior hydration. And the best to explain this one is like when you drink a lot of water, if you drink a ton of it,
it just sits in your stomach instead of getting absorbed. Like, we all want our water to actually absorb and start hydrating our cells to start bringing that nutrients in and actually pushing out waste.
It's gonna run through our body, and then hopefully, take care of all those things that our lymphatic system is meant to do.
And a great example of doing this is we're gonna make tea, okay?
And if the water's actually small enough, then it's gonna be able to pass through our cells and actually bring in that nutrients, push out that waste.
And this tea bag, whining isn't exactly the same size as our cells, but it's a great representation, right? So let's see what happens and see if we can make tea with this antioxidant Smartwater.
All righty, I don't know why I'm calling it antioxidant 'cause there's no , there's no antioxidants in it, but we are getting some tea.
It takes some little jumping around, right? We're starting to get something. Vapor distilled water, and we got a little something, not a lot,
but let's go ahead and see what happens with this electrolyzed-reduced water. Doesn't take much at all. And clearly, looking at this, the tea is much darker, it's much richer.
The reason why 'cause the water is smaller. It's actually able to hit it at, hit it at the right spots to get more tea, I don't know. I don't know how else to say it.
I don't know, I'm not a scientist, so I don't know the proper terminology. But let's try it one more time because the bag was wet for the second one, right?
Let's go ahead and see. Maybe, this will work the second time around. No, it's the same. And the reason why is 'cause the water's bigger.
I know you're probably thinking like, what? What do you mean the water's bigger? Well, picture like grapes.
If you want to put grapes into this bottle, you wouldn't put the whole vine in there, right? You would have to pluck 'em one at a time. That's the same thing with this water.
This is a vine of grapes compared to this, which is individually-plucked grapes, okay? So just think about it that way. Let's try this one more time and see if this works.
Boom, look at that. Crazy, right? So when you're actually drinking the right water, you're actually able to hydrate yourself much, much better.
Boom, so there was tea in there, you're just using bigger water, okay? This is insane. All right, so we tested Smartwater Antioxidant water, okay?
We tested it for the first part, which is antioxidants. We saw this is oxidizing. We also tested it for alkalinity, which was number two,
and we saw that was a little bit below neutral despite the selenium that's in it. And last but not least, we tested it for superior hydration, and we saw that barely hydrates us,
maybe like 10 or 15%. So there you have it. There is the Smartwater Antioxidant Review of Smartwater made by Coke.
And if you enjoyed this video and wanna see us test something else, please put it in the comments below.
