Smart Water vs Core Hydration

Smart Water vs Core Hydration Water

In today’s video, we have a water battle! Smart Water vs Core Hydration Water!

We’re going to test these brands for three properties to find out which one is better.

So let’s get started!

1. Antioxidants

Both of these brands are pretty popular. Smart Water is one of the most popular brands, while Core Hydration is pretty new in the market, but those who tried it say that it tastes better than other water brands out there.

We want our water to do what antioxidants do. And that is to reduce oxidation, reduce inflammation, push out toxins, and keep us young.

Since we are surrounded by polluted air, unhealthy water and food, and technology, antioxidants help us fight off the negative impact of those things on our health.

And our water should help us do that.

So to find out if our contenders are doing that, we’re going to use an ORP Meter.

The ORP meter measures oxidation-reduction potential and shows the water’s ability or inability to reduce oxidation. Any number that is positive means that the water is creating oxidation in your body, thus leading to aging, sickness, and diseases.

On the other hand, a negative value indicates that the water is good for you and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

So, let’s begin with Smart Water.

This high positive number means that Smart Water is oxidizing us and making us sicker. Will Core Hydration Water do any better? Let’s see.

Unfortunately, Core Hydration Water had even worse result.

Therefore, this round goes to Smart Water, but none of these are good for you since both are oxidizing.

2. Alkalinity

We want to keep our body in a slightly alkaline environment.

We want our blood to stay slightly alkaline, at the level of 7.365, and by consuming alkaline water our body has no issue of reaching that level.

However, by drinking acidic water, or consuming acidic products such as sodas, tobacco, fast food, our body has to do everything to reach its natural balance.

How?

By taking the minerals and nutrients from our skin, ligaments, and joints.

That’s how we end up with diseases such as:

  • Eczema
  • Brittle bones - osteoporosis
  • Alzheimer's and other mental diseases

Your skin starts losing quality, your bones become brittle, and you start forgetting things. All that thanks to acidity.

And to test if Smart Water and Core Hydration Water are alkaline or acidic, we’re going to use pH drops.

If the color of the water changes to yellow, orange, or red, it is an indicator of acidic water. On the other hand, blue, light purple, and purple indicate alkaline water.

Right now, it seems that the Smart Water is acidic, and Core Hydration Water alkaline. But is it so really?

By blowing some air into the water, we can find out the waters true acidity. Let’s see if Core Hydration Water is really alkaline as it shows.

Well, the color changed, and that’s not a good sign. This happens because the producer of this water added artificial inorganic minerals to hide its true acidity.

So, both of these water brands are acidic and you shouldn’t be drinking them.

3. Superior Hydration

The water that we're drinking should hydrate us at a cellular level. It shouldn't just sit in our stomach and make us feel bloated.

Our water should be able to enter the cells and hydrate us immediately.

We’re going to test both waters for their hydration abilities. And it’s done by a simple trick using a teabag!

In this experiment, teabag represents the cells in our body. The water molecules should be so small to enter the teabag and instantly make tea, without boiling the water.

Because, if the water is not able to pass through the teabag, it probably won’t do any better on much smaller cell.

Let’s go ahead and see if our contenders actually absorb into the tea bag and pull out the nutrients.

Well, they both look pretty even. Yes, they managed to make some tea, but it’s not more than 10% of what you would expect from the water that's supposed to hydrate you on a cellular level.

And I had to bounce the teabag a lot to get this result! You shouldn’t jump up and down to hydrate yourself. If we just pour the water over the teabag, nothing will happen.

On the other hand, the electrolyzed reduced water that I’m consuming, instantly makes tea. Let me show you!

This is the result that we are looking for. The water should hydrate you instantly, just like this electrolyzed reduced water is doing.

If you are taking medications or supplements, you want them to enter your cells fast. You don’t want to waste them by going to bathroom just after you took them.

And that’s exactly what happens if you are drinking Smart Water and Core Hydration Water. You are losing your money, and risking your health.

Smart Water vs Core Hydration Water Conclusion

We tested these water brands for three specific properties.

Smart Water was slightly better in our antioxidants test, but unfortunately it is still oxidizing our body.

Both brands failed on our Alkalinity test, since both tested out as acidic.

And last but not least, we checked for Superior Hydration and found out that neither one is capable of hydrating us.
